About us

We are improving the health and resilience of marine ecosystems

Coastal Oceans Research and Development in the Indian Ocean (CORDIO) East Africa leading non-governmental research and conservation organization based in Mombasa, Kenya, dedicated to marine and coastal ecosystems in the Western Indian Ocean (WIO). We work to synergize marine scientific research with conservation policy and practice on a regional scale.
